TASC-RestoreMed Presented at MicroMed Conference in Ischia

On 21 October 2025, the TASC-RestoreMed project was featured at the MicroMed Conference in Ischia, Italy. The conference represented a key regional forum dedicated to advancing research and collaboration on microplastics, marine restoration, and sustainable innovation in the Mediterranean. The event brought together scientists, policymakers, and project representatives to discuss emerging findings and joint initiatives.

Annamaria Vujanović from the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, presented the goals and funding opportunities of TASC-RestoreMed. She emphasized the project’s role in strengthening technical assistance and knowledge transfer to help Mediterranean communities implement Mission Ocean objectives. Her talk highlighted pathways for supporting Transition Agendas and Community-Led Actions, focusing on the integration of sustainable business models, regional cooperation, and practical restoration measures.
