TASC-RestoreMed is powered by a strong alliance of ten organisations from eight Mediterranean and European countries, bringing together scientific excellence, technological innovation, community engagement, and policy expertise.

This diverse consortium forms a united network dedicated to advancing the restoration and sustainable management of marine and freshwater ecosystems across the Mediterranean basin.

Each partner contributes a unique perspective, from leading marine research and modelling, to driving social innovation, digital transformation, business support, and cross-regional collaboration. Together, we combine decades of experience, complementary skills, and shared commitment to the mission of “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030″.

PRE-AWARD - CALL FOR PROPOSALS, EVALUATION & SELECTION

LEADER: F6S NETWORK IRELAND LIMITED (F6S)

OBJECTIVES
  • Publish the call text and all supporting applicant/evaluator documentation and set up the F6S platform & expert pool.
  • Manage the full evaluation workflow (screening, expert review, consensus, ranking with tie-break rules) and produce ranked lists for FSTP projects and Transition Agendas.
  • Contract and onboard selected projects, ensuring signed agreements and smooth start of activities.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN BUSINESS/IMPACT CASE & BUSINESS PLAN DEVELOPMENT

LEADER: FREDERICK UNIVERSITY (FREDU)

OBJECTIVES
  • Provide a comprehensive funding-readiness pathway: Funding Opportunities Ctalogue, access-to-funding support, and Follow-up Funding Report.
  • Apply the Blue Economy Doughnut, run diagnostic workshops, and deliver problem – solution fir and feasibility studies (technical & economic).
  • Develop and maintain RestoreMedTOOLS (tangible KERs sush as templates, guidelines, courses, webinars, mapping tools) to standardise and scale support.
  • Produce business plan portfolios and policy recommendations stemming from Transition Agendas.
KNOWLEDGE SHARING OF SHORT-LONG-TERM IMPACT OF COMMUNITY-LED ACTIONS

LEADER: UNIVERSITY OF MARIBOR (UM)

OBJECTIVES
  • Establish an Open Data Policy and a digital tool for environmental LCA to harmonise data and impact evidence
  • Deliver complete impact assessments (incl. social impact, lessons learned/best practices, and human health impact).
  • Ensure data flows to EU infrastructures (e.g., EMODnet/EDITO) and achieve KPIs on completion rates, positive impact, and stakeholder satisfaction.
COMMUNICATION, DISSEMINATION & COMMUNITY BUILDING

LEADER: IMPACT HUB LABS (IHA)

OBJECTIVES
  • Run a cross-Mediterranean outreach and engagement programme tailored to diverse stakeholders; publish the DCCP and impact-tracking framework.
  • Identify, map, categorise and cluster relevant projects; develop a digital tool and dashboard for the portfolio.
  • Build communities and strategic alliances; co-organise clustering with Lighthouse CSAs; deliver a joint end-of-project Marine & Freshwater Ecosystem Management Conference.
  • Achieve dissemination KPIs (web, social, media, events, trainings) and report mid-term and final communication outcomes.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & COORDINATION

LEADER: HELLENIC CENTRE FOR MARINE RESEARCH (HCMR)

OBJECTIVES
  • Ensure smooth legal, financial, administrative and technical coordination; monitor risks, progress, and timely delivery; manage interactions with the EC.
  • Operate governance bodies (CMG, CS, StG, PA, EAB) and produce core management deliverables (Project Handbook, cumulative expenditure reports).
  • Set up and update Data Management Plans and Ethics reports; deliver a Gender Equality Report and integrate gender across FSTP.
